The P1 Superstock UK Championship is organised and administered by the P1 Club in accordance with the General Rules of the Royal Yachting Association and the Championship Regulations. For the purposes of these rules the Championship Organisers are intended singularly and together as the P1 club and the RYA.
A typical Race is 20 or 30 mins on a nm course. For Race 2 the grid will be reversed from the outcome of Race 1 and for Race 3 the grid will be reversed from the outcome of Race 2. The Team (boat) with the highest number of round points after all completed rounds will be awarded the P1 SuperStock UK Championship.
There are three race weekends which make up the three rounds, each event is held over two days and are all sanctioned through the RYA and run concurrently with the P1 AquaX series. Within each round there are three races, making a total of 20 point scoring races. At the end of each race weekend race points are totalled up to determine the round winner. Winners of each race will be awarded a medal and podium finishers for the round will receive a trophy and prize money.
The individual racers (Drivers and Navigators) with the highest number of race points at the end of the season will be awarded the P1 SuperStock UK Driver or Navigator Award.
There is no other racing series with such integrity and parity at its heart.
