Hear the inside thoughts behind Hotel Planner and Powerboat P1's Sponsorship from Tim Hentschel

HotelPlanner.com, the leading online provider of group travel worldwide, recently debuted as the Title Sponsor of the 34th Annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival in Sarasota, Florida. Each year, the high-octane event is produced by and benefits the Suncoast Charities for Children.

Following the race weekend, Powerboat P1, who are the sanctioning body for the racing portion of this iconic festival, caught up with title sponsor HotelPlanner.com. Speaking to the company’s Co-Founder and CEO, Tim Hentschel, first explained their association with the recent festival:

“Powerboat P1's event in Sarasota seemed like a natural fit for us. Based in West Palm Beach, we do a lot of work with hotels in Florida and know the area well, which is an advantage for those traveling to the event.

“We believe that everything is better together, so it is our mission to help people connect both easily and economically to the people and places that matter. We were honored to help fans connect with Powerboat P1 as it accelerates the sport of powerboating around the world.”

Powerboat P1 may be the latest sporting company that HotelPlanner.com has partnered with, but it’s certainly not the first.

Since their establishment in 2002, HotelPlanner.com has aligned itself with many other high-profile sports, clubs and teams on an international level including: Millwall F.C., QPR, and Swansea City; a wide range of US sports teams such as New York Yankees, New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams, and the Brooklyn Nets; as well as a number of college football teams.
